Every Sunday, I publish a new essay exploring disability, communication, technology, healthcare, independence, sport, writing, public policy, and the ordinary moments that quietly shape our lives.

I don’t write to fit a niche. I write to understand the world around me.

Each essay begins with a question, an experience, or an observation worth exploring. Sometimes that means examining disability policy. Other times it means reflecting on brain surgery, home, work, or the unexpected lessons hidden inside everyday life.

The subject changes.

The commitment doesn’t.

My goal is to publish thoughtful, well-researched, deeply personal writing that values nuance over certainty and curiosity over outrage. I believe complex ideas deserve more than headlines, and lived experience deserves more than stereotypes.

Every essay is published free of charge because I want these conversations to be accessible. I want people with disabilities, families, professionals, policymakers, and anyone with an interest in understanding the world from a different perspective to be able to read and share them without barriers.

If you value this publication and would like to help ensure it continues to grow, you can become a paid subscriber or support my work through a one time payment of any value.

Neither option unlocks additional content.

Instead, they help create the time and space required to research, write, edit, and publish a new essay every Sunday.

Thank you for reading.

I hope you’ll join me each week.
